You won’t believe which ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star just announced they are pregnant with their second child!
“Vanderpump Rules” star Lala Kent is pregnant with her second child.
The reality TV star announced her pregnancy on Sunday with a black and white photo of her bare baby bump on Instagram. The photo also featured her 2-year-old daughter Ocean Kent Emmett, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé, Randall Emmett.
“I'm expanding my group” Kent wrote. in the title.
The announcement comes just weeks after Kent, 33, revealed to Cosmopolitan who was receiving intrauterine insemination (IUI) treatments to conceive her second child with a sperm donor. Kent said she had friends who tried IUI before trying to get pregnant through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
What is IUI?What to know about intrauterine insemination
“I knew I wanted to have more children,” Kent told Cosmopolitan. “What was happening was very strange because everyone was telling me, 'You're going to find someone.' And I started thinking, 'Why does my desire to have more children have to involve someone else?' “I think if there's a will, there's a way. I knew a donor was an option and I knew IUI was an option.”
Kent, in the interview, added that while she never thought it was a path she was “going to take,” she was “grateful it was an option.”
“I really saw myself in a simple relationship and creating a family, but now that the universe has other plans for me, I'm so grateful that this was an option,” Kent had said in her interview.
Meanwhile, in a video posted to Instagram Stories that same night, Kent said she was very happy the news was finally out.
“Do you know how happy I am to have finally shared the news that I'm expecting my second child? Yo! Open Book really, really had to fight hard to keep this a secret from you guys,” Kent said.
Kent also said she planned to talk more about her pregnancy in her podcast, “Dame Lala” starting with a special bonus episode that will be released on March 4.
Several of Kent's colleagues from her “Vanderpump Rules” family, including alum Brittany Cartwright and current cast member Scheana Shay, congratulated her on her pregnancy.
