The rain finally left the area, but not before 2 to almost 4 inches of rain fell in some places yesterday! The risk of flooding remains high today as all this water makes its way through the system and into streams, streams and rivers.
A very cold start with teenagers due to the icy wind! Watch out for some icy spots, especially in runoff areas! Today will be dry and partly cloudy, but still breezy with a strong northerly wind at times. Dry to start the week, but some showers and showers could return mid to late week. That being said, temperatures will climb into the 50s. Uncertainty continues with the Easter forecast next weekend as there may be a storm nearby…
Use caution if traveling to northern New England on Sunday as heavy snow of 12″ to 24″ fell across much of central and northern VT, NH and ME!
